Goods Received Stamp
A warehouse receiving stamp with date and checker line.
What you can customize
- Edit individual text layers and fonts.
- Change the border, ink color and spacing.
- Export a transparent PNG for documents or SVG for vector workflows.
Preview wording is sample content. Replace names, dates and numbers before using the design.
A goods-received stamp records an intake step. It should help staff connect a delivery note to a receiving record; it should not imply that every item passed inspection. This rounded rectangular template contains a receipt label, a date and a warehouse/checker line.
Receipt and inspection are different events
For a fictional delivery of 12 cartons, the receiving desk might record “12 cartons received; contents pending inspection” in the receiving record. Keep the stamp short: GOODS RECEIVED, the actual receipt date and the responsible desk. Put quantities, damage notes and the delivery reference in the document’s fields or register.
| Field | What to enter | What to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Date | The date the delivery arrived | Leaving today’s date on an older delivery |
| Warehouse | Your actual receiving location | Keeping WAREHOUSE Nº 4 from the example |
| Checked by | The relevant staff identifier, if your process uses one | Implying quality approval when only receipt was checked |
Make the small line readable
The initial design reference is 45 mm wide. The warehouse line contains much smaller lettering than the headline. Test that line first: remove the warehouse label if the form already identifies it, or split location and checker into separate text layers. Increase the available width only if the document has room. There is no universal warehouse-stamp size.
- Open the editor and replace the warehouse wording.
- Select the date layer and check its value. If you need a historical date, remove the automatic date layer and add that date as ordinary Text.
- Remove simulated wear if it interferes with numbers or initials.
- Export a transparent PNG and place it beside the receiving fields, away from totals and delivery references.
Keep the receiving record with the document
A downloaded image has no link to inventory quantities or a warehouse database. It does not update its date later. Save the receiving record in your usual system, and reopen the marked document to check that the image remains readable.
Use the general received stamp for incoming correspondence, or an approval label only after the separate review. The size guide explains how to proof the layout on paper.
